Can someone tell me the oficial copyright status of the 1941 cartoon "Pantry Panic" by Walter Lantz, released by Universal.

This cartoon is one of the few Walter Lantz cartoons believed to be in the public domain.

Source of information is a public domain stock footage library that does the copyright searches. It also shows up on many public domain DVD cartoon collections.

It's several entries down on this page.

I'm not sure what is required to prove this matter to UTube.

You could go to the entry on Internet Archive and use that. Short of an official Library of Congress copyright search, there are many sites claiming the status of this title.

As in all legal matters, there is a burden of proof that must be realized, and the only solid proof is a copyright search.

Well if anybody has the ability to do a Library of Congress copyright check for me I would be eternally grateful.
